Tiponi is a Hopi name meaning "child of importance" - not that I intend any
pressure on this little girl <lol> She's from Spunky's final litter, as Spunky
has made a fine mom and produced some lovely kittens for me and is now ready to
retire from breeding and, in addition, shortly after RayRay was born her Great
Grandmother, CH Pacificoons Barcardi of Moosecoons, passed away. I used to sing
the Bacardi song for my sweet lady who was a big strapping silver mac patched
female, and the Bacardi song was to the tune of the old "Volare - Whoa Oh" --
so, that is how we arrived at RayRay's name and why she is a child of importance
- a tribute to the wonderful females behind her :-)
And I do love her type, her coat, her pattern and expression. She has Dad's
wide open curious look about her and she's a dear too, loves to cuddle on me and
purr her head off when I'm trying to read. She will make her show debut at Crab
& Mallet in Pikesville in March, so we'll see if she got Dad's happy show
personality as well!
